Pune, November 16, 2024: The Pune edition of Mekathlon
2024 unfolded as a dynamic STEM Fest, organized in collaboration with the Commonwealth Youth Council, Commonwealth Student Association, and Global Understanding for Sustainable
Development (GUSD). Bringing together more than 1,500 students, from 8
years to 18 years, the event showcased exceptional innovations in Robotics and Sustainable Development, spotlighting the talents of the next
generation of innovators. Students who triumphed in Robotics and Science
categoriessecured their spots in the
Mekathlon 2024 Grand Finale
scheduled for November 23rd and 24th, underscoring the STEM Fest’s role as a
stepping stone for budding talent.
The Pune edition placed an emphasis on hands-on STEM engagement, featuring competitive segments such as the EcoInnova Science Exhibition, Brainiac Battle Quiz, and advanced Robotics challenges like Racer Robo, Fastest Line Follower, and Obstacle Avoider. Students demonstrated STEM concepts in action, providing solutions to real-world problems while enhancing both technical acumen and essential life skills.
