Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences, Indore and ISRO jointly organize ‘ISRO Exhibition 2025 – From Earth to the Stars: India’s Journey in Space’
Indore, 25th August 2025: Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences (SUAS), Indore, in collaboration with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), organized a special exhibition ‘ISRO Exhibition 2025 – From Earth to the Stars: India’s Journey in Space’. The exhibition was held with great enthusiasm from 23rd to 25th August 2025 at the Symbiosis University campus, Super Corridor, near Airport, Bada Bangarda, Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
The event was organized to mark the occasion of National Space Day on 23rd August. The exhibition was graced by the presence of ISRO Senior Scientists Shalini Gangele, Dinesh Kumar Agrawal, and Ravi Kumar Verma, whose guidance provided students with in-depth knowledge about various aspects of space science and technology.
The exhibition showcased India’s remarkable achievements in space research, cutting-edge technologies, and the spirit of innovation that drives the nation’s journey into space. It provided a unique opportunity for students, teachers, and the general public to experience India’s space journey up close. Schools, colleges, and universities actively participated in large numbers, and entry was kept free for all.
On this occasion, Prof. Vineet Kumar Nair, Vice-Chancellor, Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences, said:
"This initiative was carried out through the Government of India. ISRO has come to Indore today through Symbiosis. A total of 3,500 students visited the exhibition. Organized on National Space Day, the exhibition featured large models of Chandrayaan, Aryabhata Satellite, Bhaskara, Gaganyaan, launched satellites, PSLV (Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle), GSLV (Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle), as well as other space and science technologies. ISRO’s technical team guided the students throughout the event."
Ravi Kumar Verma, Senior Scientist, ISRO, said:
"Through Chandrayaan-3, India successfully achieved a soft landing on the Moon. Two years ago, India became the fourth country in the world to place its national flag on the Moon. There is a huge difference between having the moon and stars on your flag, and having your flag on the Moon."
Dinesh Kumar Agrawal, Senior Scientist, ISRO, remarked:
"This exhibition was organized under the program ‘ISRO at Your Doorstep’ and ‘Space on Wheels.’ Students got to learn about working satellite models and rocket functioning processes. They also understood how satellites play an important role in almost every aspect of our daily lives."
Shalini Gangele, Senior Scientist, ISRO, shared:
"The Vikram Sarabhai Space Exhibition was brought from Ahmedabad, Gujarat to Indore through Symbiosis. Students learned what ISRO actually does, what milestones it has achieved so far, its vision for the future, and the role of women empowerment within ISRO."
The exhibition, organized by Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences, aimed to inspire curiosity and ignite interest in science and research among the youth of the nation.
